Classic Leather iPad Pro 11" / iPad Air Case

Last summer I bought a new iPad to replace my very dated 2014 version—the Smart Cases now sold by Apple are absolutely awful and I was deeply dissatisfied. After looking at Amazon's selections and still not feeling comfortable with any options there, but then I remembered my love for Pad & Quill (which had been my go to iPhone case for over a decade now)—this is how I discovered P&Q's successor, Burton Goods.

It is difficult to express how much I love this case—I was nervous at first because I had never had a non-stock case. However, the moment I snapped the iPad securely into this hardened leather shell, it felt like I had just gotten a brand new iPad all over again!

While the feel and look of the leather is the first thing you notice (as well as how safe the iPad now feels) it is the attention to detail that set this case apart.

My one concern had been that the magnetic strap would flop around and be a bother as I try to write with my Apple Pencil (something I do a lot for school); however, this case was clearly made by someone who understands the product, as the magnet strap clips in every position that you forget it is there.

Before this case I was always nervous to take my iPad out and about, since the one I used previously barely provided any protection (especially around the edges) and the pencil was always flying off in transit.

It is sleek, professional, and doesn't affect the handling of such a valuable tool.

In the next year I will need to upgrade my iPhone again, and know that the moment I figure out the model I want I will be immediately purchasing that case from Burton Goods!
