Magic Keyboard Leather Case M5 / M4 iPad Pro 13"

I’ve been using the Magic Keyboard Leather Case M5 / M4 for the 13” iPad Pro in Onyx Black from Burton Goods, and it’s been a solid upgrade across the board. This case is hands down the best (and only) case I have found for the IPad w/ Magic Keyboard.

I use a slim cover and a screen protector on the iPad itself, and then have this leather protection over the Magic Keyboard. It works flawlessly.

An iPad is all I use for everything for the last 6 years. I cannot believe that I have just found this protection for the keyboard.

Truly premium quality at a price that feels surprisingly low. The leather is excellent—rich, substantial, and finished with precise stitching and clean, well-crafted edges. The fit with the Magic Keyboard is perfect, and the overall workmanship is outstanding. First Burton Goods purchase, but definitely not my last. Highly recommended.

But this current version has been a nightmare since I bought it.

The sensor on the right side of the iPad can barely reach the receiver on the Magic Keyboard when attached to this case. The leather bits hold it just far enough away that I am CONSTANTLY pressing on that right side so I can type with my other hand.

I called last year about the issue and was told that no one else had this trouble. I guess you think it is all in my head. But it's been unrelenting. To the point that I often just use that old iPAD.

I told my husband (it's been a YEAR) that I was going to see what happens if I trim the leather way back.

But he said, Just try it without the case.

OMG. It's life-changing! That frustrating virtual keyboard hasn't shown up at all!!

Exactly what I wanted and expected. The only thing that would make it perfect is a life time warranty like the last case I bought from Snugg.

Like everything but i wish it had some a few small steel plates sewn into the back so i could attach my ipad pro there and it would stick

A case of exceptional quality, both in terms of leather and craftsmanship, with significant improvements over its P&Q predecessor in detail. It's lightweight yet sturdy and dimensionally stable, thin but offers secure protection for the iPad. It has a very pleasant feel, significantly enhances the tablet, and conveys a appealing feeling of security. The iPad, the Magic Keyboard, and the leather case merge into a very practical unit.

I went with the black color with my initials. I always wanted the apple keyboard, but I was concerned having no protection for the IPAD. I've already been asked several times where I purchased the case. I'm very happy with the case and Burton was great in getting back to me when I had questions prior to the purchase. FIRST CLASS all the way! Buy It!

Absolutely perfect product for iPad and Magic Keyboard. Excellent quality and craftsmanship. I had previously bought the Andar equivalent to this product and although it was nice, it had flaws such as blocking the auto wake feature of the iPad. This product, however, ticks all the boxes!

This is a beautiful leather case. Well made i expect it to last for years

I had purchased the first when they were originally released. My only quibble was that the bottom of the case could fall away from the bottom of the Magic Keyboard as it was not secured to it. But now Burton has added elastic straps at the corners that accomplishes this. They don’t have to be used but once you do you will really want to leave them on. This is the best looking, most convenient option you’ll find and I highly recommend it.

Beautiful execution! Nice fit and finish.

The only negative i. Have on this product is that the strap does not secure the ipen to the tablet, I have suggested a well made, sturdy zipper for the entire notebook edges, or a seperate pocket, or area for the ipen along the top/ bottom edge, or Velcro binding strip with the a mating tip for top of ipen. I lost 2 previous pens and i dont intend to loose a 3rd. A zipper also helps to keep out dust on contaminants along the edges and would perhaps be easiest.

The case for my M4 Ipad arrived as scheduled! The packaging was very nice preventing any possible damage. The fit and function of the case is flawless. This is not my first Burton purchase, as I also have a case for my MacBook Pro 16 inch. The leather quality is smooth and subtle. I would not choose any other products to protect my Apple products!

Fast shipment, high quality leather and well tought thru design.
I tried out a lot of leather versions for my magic keyboard (adhesive italian leather, leather patches etc.) and i ended up with THIS one. A product which gives the feel of thick leather (not a film or similar cover) but definetly future for patina. And yes the ipad gets thicker, but gives a different feel holding and using it. BTW: It also handles better for the enginnering „no-go“ concerning the center of gravity the original magic keyboard is known for. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 from my side. Therefor i went for the mbp16 leather cover which only was available in mahogany colored leather … no probs as i will color it black with black leather solution or an iron oxyde mixture to get it black with some additional basic since the acid is not healthy for leather ;-)

I always liked the leather of PAD & Quill stuff, but the designs on many of the items were always wanting.

I have purchased a MacBook Pro 16 case, an iPhone 16 Pro Max case, and the IPad Pro 13 Magnectic keyboard case. The IPhone case and IPad Pro 13 case are EXCEPTIONAL.

I am not sure if they are still made in the US (probably not because of competitor costs), but the products are of high quality & very well thoughout.

I wouldn’t pay retail though - they have already had a couple of 35 percent off sales so you might as well wait until they have the next one and save a good dinner out.
