CLEARANCE Magnetic Leather iPad Case M5 / M4 iPad Pro 13"

I was a long time customer of Pad & Quill, and now beginning my customer relationship with Burton Goods. The product is everything advertised; gorgeous and soft leather, sturdy and practical, and simply exactly what I was looking for. The strong magnetic closure and IPad attachment assembly, the ease of propping the IPad up for reading/watching , and the look of handmade work, make it a thing of beauty and practical function.

This was my 2nd iPad Case and it did not disappoint.

Really well made premium leather and very practical with good protection.

I have experienced the same issue regarding less-than-desirable strength of the magnets designed to retain the iPad securely in the case, as mentioned in the review submitted by Mr. Trevor. The iPad occasionally detaches completely if the case is opened from certain positions. One must be careful to make sure that if the case is lying flat with the camera lenses on top, open it slowly and make sure you also hold the iPad securely WITH the case cover, or it WILL detach from the magnets. If the iPad detaches, realign the iPad and attach it back onto the magnets. I offer this as a caution to current owners of the case and to others who may consider purchasing it. Also, the case could be more secure if the small magnetized flap was quite a bit longer, so that when the case is completely closed, the magnetized flap would really grab hold and provide a secure lock. Currently, the magnetized flap, which is supposed to secure the cover in the closed position, is not strong enough or long enough. Other than the design issues I have noted, and hopefully might be used when considering quality improvements, the case is nice, as it should be for an expensive iPad accessory.

I sent a message to customer service about getting new magnets as these are not strong enough to keep the iPad inside the case. Never got a response. Would not recommend. My old iPad is still safe in its five year old leather case from the old quill incarnation of your company. I expected better things of the new company and this new case. It looks nice! But weak magnets.

I’m a long time Pad & Quill buyer of cases for iPads and phones of all sizes. This is, by far, the most luxurious, slim, user-friendly case I have ever used. It’s exactly what I have wanted for years. The magnets work perfectly, the protective corners give it some protection, and I can take it out in an instant and pop it onto my magic keyboard. I love the flap that goes over the pencil and the feel of the case. Additionally, the additional angle that the case folds into is ideal for writing or reading while it is on my lap.

I chose this case for my new Pro 13 because I liked the Pad & Quill case that I had for my 12.9 Pro. The features are nice and the case is handsome, but after placing the new iPad Pro 13 and case on my kitchen scale, it is actually HEAVIER than my old Pro 12.9 with the similar Pad & Quill case. So this new case completely negates the reduced thickness and weight of the new Pro 13 vs the old Pro 12.9. Having a lighter setup was one of the main reasons why I upgraded to the Pro 13, so I may end up returning this case.

This is the best ipad pro leather case that I’ve got the touch and smooth of the leather and it’s rugged that’s all matter , and you can tell the quality of it the first you open the box you will notice it .

What can I say. I paid, and it seems to have gone away into the ether. I never got it. :-(

I must have reviewed 100 options to find the right cover for my iPad Pro. It’s my primary workhorse when I travel, so it needed to be just right. I wanted genuine leather, not PU. I wanted something crafted to match the craftsmanship of the iPad. I didn’t want something bulky—just a cover, please, not one disguised as a handbag. And the magnets needed to be STRONG.

And that’s what I got. Beautiful leather. Stitching. Magnets. Soft inside, tough outside. Perfect fit. The design is terrific. I will buy more from Burton.

While the quality of the leather is very nice, the case does not line up with the iPad Pro M4 13 camera cutout at all -- it's nearly a quarter-inch off! I was told by customer service to push the magic keyboard further into the case, but it's already butted against the stitching, so it doesn't line up. Hugely disappointing at such a premium price-point. I was only offered a return and told that a "replacement will fit the same way as the original." I think the designers at Burton Goods need to fix this before continuing to charge top-dollar for a product that needs refinement.

I have been doing a lot of research on cases and to help protect my new iPad 13” model with the new apple keyboard and this leather case does not disappoint at all. Hands down superiorly well made and incredible construction. I have owned it for about a month now and as an outside sales manager I am constantly on the go and using my iPad non stop and this leather case has held up extremely well. Definitely worth the money and the added benefit is the strap that holds my apple pencil down!

I was so impressed with the case I brought for the keyboard and iPad that I had to buy the case just for the iPad. It is a little heavier than I thought it would be but the beauty of the case far outweighs that factor. Highly recommend it.

I have used these cases for years and while the quality, detail and craftsmanship is excellent, I have always had an issue with the design of the case that allows iPad to be propped up in horizontal position, it does not hold well and often collapses. This is the first case with magnets holding the iPad in place , so time will tell how well it works. I am super cautious as I don’t want iPad to come loose.

I am very pleased with my leather case. It is beautiful and sturdy. Makes my new iPad Pro feel very luxurious on my lap in my easy chair! Haha. Also like the magnetic closures and the way it holds the iPad with magnets. It was worth the wait. Fine workmanship! Thank you!

I just received the magnetic today for my 13" iPad Pro M4. The leather is fantastic and smells good. The cover folds back easily (I had a Pad & Quill leather case which did not want to fold back). I love the magnetic mount. It seems to hold the iPad very securely. Its much easier to put in and take out than cases with the plastic frames. I hesitated buying this case but glad I got it. now.

Just received my order for the Magnetic Leather IPad Case M4 IPad Pro 13”. Your product is absolutely gorgeous. The fit, form and function is superb. I love the mahogany color and the feel of the leather is soft, but firm and should easily last the life of the IPad. Protection for the IPad seems superior and I love the magnetic attachment system as it makes removal of the IPad from your case effortless.

Like many others, I’ve owned several iPads and various brands of iPad cases over the years. None of the other cases I’ve owned come close to measuring-up to the quality and usability of this case by Burton Goods. This case is perfectly designed and comes with beautifully tanned full grain leather that has the look and feel of the finest leather. While providing protection for the iPad, the case does not prevent access to the buttons on the edge of the iPad. My only regret is having purchased Apple’s Smart Keyboard before discovering this case.

This is a replacement/upgrade from a P&Q 11 inch case that served me well of over 5 years. The fit finish and feel of this case is excellent. The magnetic attachment of the iPad to the case and the magnetic closure tab is a tremendous improvement. I am looking forward to many years of service from this case.
