CLEARANCE Magnetic Leather Case M5 / M4 iPad Pro 11"

I bought a Pad & Quill iPad cover in 2017 for my second-gen iPad Pro that looks nearly as good today as it did on day one. The Burton Products revival has brough these covers back even better! The leather is beautiful and the design is superior to any other case or cover on the market, even to the old P&Q.

I use my iPad primarily for teaching, so it doesn't go too far outside of my brief bag. The magnets hold the iPad firmly in place - I don't plan to throw mine around like other reviewers have suggested.

Not sure how this ever got into the clearance section, but I'm happy it did - between exchange, shipping, and taxes, my Canadian dollars don't go as far as the local USD.

After buying a bunch of products from the previous company, I thought this would be a good buy for my new M5 IPad Pro 11”.

I have to admit-the previous cases (with the sticky tape inside and the elastic closure) were MUCH better. I had one for my large IPad pro and it has lasted over 7 years and is still as solid and great looking as the day I bought it. This new one I’ve had a bit over a month and the front side had already warped (it doesn’t lay flat on the front of the iPad when closed, even when you close the magnetic closure on the side). Pretty disappointing because the quality of the leather is great. I’ll be looking for another case because I have a feeling this is just going to get worse.

It may seem like a small thing and very nitpicky-but it’s going to drive me nuts.

I am impressed with the quality of this cover. After reading other reviews my biggest concern was how secure my iPad would be in this cover. After I received this cover that concern is gone. It feels secure and looks great. It feels lighter, looks nicer and better designed than my previous Pad & Quill cover.

Well made attractive case. The leather looks to be top quality and the stitching is excellent. However, this is more of a business-style folio and not necessarily a protective case. It is bulky and heavy, but beautiful nonetheless.

iPad fits perfectly inside, although there are no retaining "lips" or ridges around the case perimeter. The magnets hold the device securely enough, but if you drop this and it lands on anything but the folded edge, the iPad WILL be damaged. Drop it when open, it's game over. Turn it over when open, sayonara tablet.

Did a couple test drops onto a bed with the folio closed and clasped, and even the softened impact knocked the device out of position every time. Worse, if it somehow becomes dislodged and you don't notice, then pick it up in portrait orientation, the iPad will instantly slide out.

I can live with all this, as I am not rough with my iPad and do not travel often. The mahogany leather is gorgeous (also bought a matching case for my phone). For normal cautious handling, this is a great option. If you need something to protect from harsh treatment, likely drops or frequent travel, look elsewhere.

Wow. Just wow.

I’ve been a big fan of Pad & Quill for years, so I wasn’t sure how anything could top it—but Burton Goods knocked it out of the park. These folio are next level. I thought I’d miss the elastic band, but the magnetic flap is genius. It’s lighter, the microfiber lining is super plush, and the leather… man, it’s soft, rich, and already starting to feel like it’ll age beautifully.

Fits my 11-inch iPad Pro like a glove. Honestly, it’s even more refined than I expected. Brian, you absolutely crushed it—and Fallon, thank you for the amazing customer care along the way. You both made this a SUPER experience.

Count me in as a Burton Goods fan for life.

He gave me one for Christmas, and he has wanted one ever since. I bought this one for his birthday.

Excellent quality construction and beautiful leather. This is my first Burton order but was a prior satisfied Pad & Quill customer. As such my expectations were high. The product quality overall was just what I expected. However, there is design quirk that is annoying , albeit, perhaps only to me. The thick stitching which aligns the iPad correctly on the magnetic back panel interferes with the ability to easily access and use the volume control buttons, especially when being used on a stand in landscape position. The stitching also impedes the Apple Pencil’s ability to adhere securely to the iPad. As a result my Pencil has had to withstand numerous unnecessary drops, some to hard surfaces, and was once misplaced because the drop initially went unnoticed. While I am not a designer, it seems to me that this should not be an issue with a piece of this quality and price point, but should be an easy problem to resolve.

Very nice product. This is my second case. I was very impressed and happy with my first one. Decided to splurge and have in another color also.
Highly recommend these nicely crafted handsome cases.

I purchased a case from Pad & Quill for my previous iPad about 6 years ago, and it was a champ for all those years. This case for the M4 is beautiful in design and function. The magnets holds the iPad pretty well, although you do have to be a bit careful as it does occasionally come loose. Would definitely purchase again.

I’m a former long-term customer of P&D (I still have a few cases and bag from them) I expect a certain level of quality, but this case greatly exceeds my expectations! Firm magnetic hold of my M4 iPad, fantastic quality and feel of the leather, lovely microfibre inside and a useful internal pocket. It’s my favourite case yet.

The magnetic holding system doesn’t work as shown. iPad slides out the side of case. I used 2 sided tape as they had on the older cases and that seems to work fine. High quality case!

In 2016, I bought the first IPad Pro. I was looking for a quality case to protect my IPad. I came across Pad & Quill and bought a nice leather case. The case and the IPad still look like the day I bought them.

When I bought the new IPad Pro recently I looked for Pad & Quills replacement, Burton Goods. This case is even better. I expect it to outlast the IPad.

It is of equal quality and I like some of the design changes. This was exactly what I was looking for.

It’s really nice, but I thought it there would be side on the iPad so it would protected more and the magnet are not strong enough to hold the iPad. Do you think you can fix that?
