Introducing the Mariner Link Apple Watch band
I don’t know why wearing a stainless steel band with my Apple Watch makes me feel like a grown-up — especially at 57 — but it still does.
For years we’ve wanted to create a substantial, weighty stainless steel band, and with the Mariner Link we finally feel like we’ve nailed it. For me, it brings back memories of the classic stainless steel bands my dad used to wear with his Seiko watch. That timeless look was a big part of the inspiration behind this design.
From the beginning, I was determined to make the band easy to adjust without tools. No more hunting for lost link removal tools — just a simple press-button system that’s quick and effortless. We also wanted a design that felt both unique and familiar, so we created a linked bracelet inspired by the bold, tubular profile of the Ocean Band, crafted in premium 316L stainless steel and finished in two beautiful options that pair perfectly with titanium or black Apple Watch Ultra models.
